High Definition Surveying, sometimes called laser scanning, allows us to quickly digitize real world settings into precision 3D renderings. Entire streetscapes can be reproduced down to the lane striping, building facades recorded brick-by-brick, or as-built conditions of industrial plants mapped out to the last power cable.

CHA's state-of-the-art scanner collects data at an amazing 50,000 points-per-second with a range of 300 meters. Comprehensive as-built and topographic surveys of facilities, construction sites, and transportation infrastructure can be completed in a single visit. Data can be collected without interfering with facility operations, construction activities, or traffic flow.

CHA offers comprehensive post data capture services for creating realistic visualizations and construction planning tools. The 3D models we create from scan data are true to scale as well as geo-referenced to the project datum.
