Waste Removal – Ellis Island Restoration Project
Assisted the National Park Service with the restoration of the south side of Ellis Island. Ellis Island, a cultural treasure, was the principal immigration station in the United States. CHA was tasked with the job of determining the quantity of waste, its characteristics, and how best to remove it. Waste determination and removal had to proceed before any structural stabilization could occur and controlled the entire schedule.
