The Partners and Principals of Clough Harbour & Associates LLP (CHA) are pleased to announce that the U.S. Soccer Foundation, the major charitable arm of soccer in the United States, recently welcomed CHA as the newest member of the Foundation’s Partners Resource Center (PRC).

In keeping with the Foundation’s commitment to serve the soccer community, it has enlisted the expertise of a select group of companies to help its constituents design, build and maintain soccer fields and complexes. CHA joins the PRC as the Foundation’s Official Supplier for Soccer Facility Design and Planning. Over the years, CHA has set a new standard for building world-class soccer projects swiftly without breaking budgets, and adds proven engineering and design expertise to the PRC.

Ray Rudolph, P.E. of CHA Sports, the firm’s sports facility design specialty group, said, “We look forward to working even more closely with the Foundation as well as the numerous communities, institutions and schools that share our passion for soccer.”

CHA Sports provides planning and design services for athletic facilities at schools, municipalities, institutions, and international organizations across the United States. The firm’s resume includes high-profile soccer facilities such as the Soccer Complex in South Germantown, Maryland; Princess Anne Athletic Complex in Virginia Beach, Virginia; and the Richmond Strikers Soccer Complex in Richmond, Virginia.

The U.S. Soccer Foundation was established in 1994 to manage the surplus funds generated by the 1994 FIFA World Cup held in the United States. Under the guidance of its Board of Directors, the Foundation has taken a leading role in supporting the continuous development of the sport at all levels. Over $40 million in grants, financial support and loans have been made to help develop a soccer nation. The Foundation has provided 345 grants focused on developing players, coaches and referees and building or enhancing fields and soccer complexes, with a special emphasis on economically disadvantaged urban areas.
