In line with its strategy of focusing on its core markets and services, CHA is pleased to announce that, effective September 3rd 2010, the assets of its Construction Materials Testing (CMT) operations were sold to D&S Engineering Labs.

D&S is a locally-owned construction materials testing, engineering, and inspection firm serving North Texas and Southern Oklahoma. The firm’s co-owner, Judson “Jud” Sherman, PE, is a former member of the CHA and Isbell Engineering (IEG) families.

D&S is leasing space in CHA’s offices to accommodate their operations and they have retained all of CHA’s former CMT staff. "The sharing of office space will ensure that D&S and CHA staff will work closely together, which will maximize the value our clients receive when they retain either of our firms to provide engineering or construction materials testing services. We look forward to working closely together with Jud and his staff." said William S. Lucarelli, CHA’s Chief Acquisition’s officer.
