Margaret Rudzinski
Clough Harbour & Associates LLP is pleased to announce that Margaret Rudzinski, a Principal in the firm and the Resource Manager for its Facilities & Energy Division, has been honored with a "Women of Excellence" award from the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Rudzinski won in the category of "Excellence in Management: 75 or more employees."
The award criteria emphasized steady professional growth and continued development of management and leadership skills. The judges evaluated Ms. Rudzinski's initiative and willingness to take risks, her ability to implement creative solutions to overcome challenges, and her ability to seize opportunities created for herself or her employees.
The Women of Excellence program is administered by the Chamber's Women's Business Council (WBC). Joanne Dwyer, Chair of the WBC, said the following in a Chamber press release: "The Women's Business Council is pleased to have the opportunity to honor these seven outstanding women. Their commitment to excellence serves as an inspiration to all women, and their accomplishments are proof of what can be achieved through hard work and determination."
Ms. Rudzinski manages the resources within CHA's Facilities & Energy Division, which includes 125+ structural, mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineers; project managers; and technical support staff. Her contributions to the firm include the development of CHA's Health and Safety Program and the acquisition and management of several of the firm's largest clients. She played an instrumental role in implementing CHA's Total Quality Management Program, and is considered an expert on implementing these programs in the engineering industry.
Ms. Rudzinski has been active in the environmental arena since the inception of many environmental regulations, particularly those involving storm water, landfill reclamation, and air emissions, and has traveled the east coast presenting these regulations. In addition, she has assisted regulatory agencies with the writing of solid waste regulations and worked with manufacturers and state agencies to implement environmental management systems that coordinate environmental compliance items with day to day business functions. In 2003, she was honored as one of the Business Review's "Forty under 40" most successful young professionals. Prior to this honor, Ms. Rudzinski graduated from both the Albany-Colonie Chamber's Capital Leadership Program and Dale Carnegie Program.
Ms. Rudzinski graduated Cum Laude from the College of St. Rose with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry/Biology. She is a member of the New York State Business Council Environmental Committee, American Chemical Society, and National Association of Female Executives as well as an Associate Member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
A resident of the Town of Colonie, Ms. Rudzinski is involved in numerous community activities, including volunteering at the Latham Ridge School and the Hudson Mohawk Land Conservancy. She is a Latham Ridge Third and First Grade Room Mom and PTA member. In addition, Ms. Rudzinski volunteers with the North Colonie Youth Baseball League, Latham Soccer Program, and Brownie Troop 777. She resides in Latham, NY with her husband, Andrew, son, Kyle, and daughter, Janina.
