CHA is pleased to announce the launch of its newest business unit: the Technology & Geospatial Solutions Group.

This new business unit combines the resources of the firm’s Survey and Technology Solutions groups and will allow CHA’s clients to better utilize the firm’s expertise in survey, CADD and GIS technologies. This group will focus on employing cutting-edge technology such as High-Definition Laser Scanners that have the capability to capture millions of intelligent data points which form the basis for 3D models that provide accurate measurements and assessments from any angle.

According to the group’s director, Sandra Fox, "CHA has made a significant investment in state-of-the-art laser scanning survey equipment. By combining this with our technology resources, we can use survey data collected in the field to generate realistic digital 3D simulations, visualizations and BIM models, all of which compliment and streamline traditional project delivery methods. This translates to time savings and cost efficiencies for our clients."

The newly-formed group will also continue provide CHA’s traditional survey, mapping and construction stakeout services as well as technology solutions such as web design, application development, and geographic information systems.
