Clough, Harbour & Associates LLP (CHA), a preeminent multi-disciplined engineering firm with 19 offices across the United States, announced today that Raymond J. Kinley, Jr. has succeeded William A. Harbour, P.E. as Chief Executive Officer of the firm. Harbour recently decided to step down after 40 years with CHA, the last 20 of which he has served as Managing Partner and CEO. Kinley, who was selected by CHA's Executive Committee to succeed Harbour, assumed the position of CEO on January 1, 2002.

Harbour, who has led the firm through two recessions as well as two periods of sustained economic growth, will remain an active member of CHA's Executive Committee indefinitely. He is expected to continue playing a key role in guiding the firm's financial and operational direction.

Kinley, the firm's Director of Project Development for the last 22 years, expects CHA to stay in a growth mode in the long run. "The key to our continued success lies in strategic planning, diversification, financial stability and regional expansion," said Kinley. "Bill Harbour has championed these ideals throughout his tenure as CEO, and I will continue to follow his philosophies as we move forward."

CHA's gross revenues have increased every year since Harbour has been CEO. Kinley projects that CHA will realize gross revenues of about $79 million in 2001, an 8% increase over the firm's gross revenues of $73.1 million in 2000.

In addition to his former position as Director of Project Development, Kinley has a long and distinguished record of community service. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for both Hope House and Capital Bank, as well as the Board of Governors for the Sons of St. Patrick. Kinley is also the President and Trustee of H.H. Funding Corporation. He has been involved in fund drives for the Boy Scouts of America, St. Peter's Hospital, Hope House, Ronald McDonald House, and the Leukemia Society. Kinley has received a number of community service awards throughout his career, including being declared "Citizen of the Year" by the Albany Local Development Corporation and receiving the "Circle of Hope" award by Hope House. He is a lifelong resident of the City of Albany, New York.
